GRADE 6 – Facebook user Dzei Labra posted about a grade 6 student who studies under the light of the lamp post on the social media.

There are also Facebook users who take the time to post inspiring stories or eye-opening ones just like netizen Dzei Labra.
Recently, the Facebook user posted about the grade 6 student who studies under the light of the lamp post on his social media account.
According to the caption of the post, the netizen was on his way home together with his wife when they passed by the Happy Valley road which is near the court of appeals. He stated that a ‘young man studying and writing with his notepad’ caught their attention.
The young man was actually doing it under the light of the lamp post according to the netizen’s post. The pet dogs of the child watch over him as he was studying.
Furthermore, based on the post, the young man is Mark Joseph Plando, a grade 6 student studying at San Nicolas. Based on one of the photos posted by the netizen, the kid is a student in San Nicolas in Cebu City.
Dzei also entailed in his post that the kid resides with his parents in a ‘makeshift shelter’ and in order for him not to disturb the young man who is studying, he made use of his smartphone instead of using his dslr camera.
“Just like the kid in McDonalds, poverty is not the hindrance to success,” Dzei ended his social media post.
The social media post has reached 38 shares. This young man’s story is indeed a proof that none can stop a person who perseveres to succeed – not even poverty in life. This is a perfect example of how students should value education – the only wealth that can be shared with others but can’t be stolen by anyone else.
