A Filipino netizen takes a video footage of a taxi driver in Dubai who can speak Tagalog fluently. The taxi driver warmly welcomed its Filipino passengers and started the conversation in Tagalog. He also knows a lot of things about the Philippines.
The taxi driver greeted the Filipino passenger with Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. He also mentioned the name of the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.
He also speaks some Tagalog tongue twister such as “Pinitik pitik ni pakita ang pitaka ni pakito,” “Nakakapagpabagabag,” “Pitumput-puting tupa,” and “Minekaniko ni Moniko ang Makina ni Monika.” The Filipino passenger was surprised that a foreigner can fluently speak in Tagalog.
He also mentioned different provinces in the Philippines and asked its passenger about the personality of Filipinos. He also said that he had no girlfriend because it is quite costly and started to make a joke that made them laugh.
The taxi driver was identified as Hosain and he is from Pakistan as he responds to the questions of its Filipino passenger. Hosain also said that he is already 10 years in Dubai and now he’s already working as a taxi driver, while his Filipino passenger was only 2 years in Dubai.
