Bro. Eli Soriano said that the critics the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte use the term Extrajudicial killings to condemn the government.

Bro. Eli Soriano clarifies that he does not blog to defend the President by saying, “I am reiterating … that I am not in defense of President Duterte!”

The International televangelist Bro. Eli Soriano of the religious program Ang Dating Daan (The Old Path) blogged his reactions against the critics of the Philippine President.

In his Controversy Extraordinary blog site addressing the issue regarding the alleged “extra-judicial killings” in the country, Soriano said that critics of the President Duterte use the term to discredit him.

He is referring to those people who described that what is happening in the Philippines is evil because of extra-judicial killings.

“Which is more evil: criminals are being killed or criminals are being cuddled?” Bro.Eli asked in his latest article on October 15 this year.

Bro. Eli was known for supporting President Rodrigo Duterte’s all-out war against illegal drugs in the country.

But in his latest post in his Controversy Extraordinary blog site, he responded to critics of his articles who accused him of defending the drug drug-related killings allegedly committed by the government.

He clarified that he does not blog to the President. Bro. Eli wrote this via his entry “Natural Brute Beasts to be Taken and Destroyed.”

Furthermore, Bro. Eli in his blog entry with titled “For the Sake of Fairness and Logic,” he mentioned that some of the members of the Catholic Faith speak liltle against drug addiction and perpetrators.

“Have these Catholic priests and members bravely spoken also in the past against these drug perpetrators?” he wrote.

He further explained the reason why he is questioning since the Senate probe yielded no evidence to the allegations of extrajudicial killings against President Duterte.

He said that his reason was “for the sake of justice and fairness.”
