In line with the battle against illegal drugs, a previous news report entailed that the sons of the late Melvin Odicta Sr., a suspected drug-personality, were arrested by the cops and the personnel of Region 6 Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-6).

Based on the report, the arrest happened during a drug raid at the Odicta residence at Barangay Malipayon, Iloilo City. The arrest of Daryl, Michael, and Melvin Jr. came after the raiding team found firearms and suspected illegal drugs at their residence.
