The portrait of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte has been displayed beside the portrait of the Indonesian President.
PORTRAIT – Before his arrival in Indonesia, a portrait of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte already awaits as it was placed beside the portrait of Indonesia’s Pres. Joko Widodo at the National Monument, Central Jakarta.
A news report in GMA News stated that the photo of the portrait of Pres. Duterte and Pres. Widodo was posted in social media by field reporter Joseph Morong. Further, it affirmed that the portrait has been displayed even before the arrival of the Philippine President to Indonesia.
The report also mention that this is the chief executives first international tour to Southeast Asian countries as the President of the Philippines.
The treatment shown by the Indonesian government for doing this could be a positive sign of a good relationship between the two countries.
