World’s Longest-Highest Bridge In China Closed Due to High Demand
World’s longest-highest bridge in China closed due to high demand 13 days after the bridge was opened on August 20, 2016.
The glass bottom bridge in Zhangjiajie, Chinas Hunan Province is the highest and the longest in the world that the visitors would hold their breath upon walking. On Friday (September 02, 2016) the record-breaking structure hanging in China Grand Canyon had closed due to overwhelming demand.
The bridge was opened to the public on August 20, 2016, but 13 days after it is opened it was closed. According to the spokesperson from the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon’s marketing and sales department said that they were overwhelmed by a large volume of visitors for it is the main attraction.
He said that the glass bridge has a capacity of 8, 000 visitors only per day but due to high demand the volume of the visitors reached up to ten times than the capacity.
