An open letter for the President was publicized by an unknown Ilonggo after President Duterte gave an undesirable name for their city.
OPEN LETTER – An unknown Ilonggo defended her city, Iloilo, after President Rodrigo Roa Duterte gave it a tag greatly associated with drugs.
President Duterte is known as a great warrior when it comes to the goal of eradicating drugs in the country. After assuming the highest post, the 71-year-old President has fully started with the campaign against drugs – even to the extent of naming officials and authorities.
The President have been very vocal on giving warnings to those who were suspected to be involved in the drug trade in every area of the nation. Names were listed and many have even surrendered before it would be too late for them.
An undeniable fact is that a lot of lives were lost already as those lives were lived associated with drugs. Nevertheless, there were still no clear verdict on who is behind those taking of lives of drug users and pushers.
