Involved Narco-politicians are given 24 Hours to surrender and answer.
President Rodrigo Duterte has at last revealed the names of the so-called narco-politicians, former and incumbents, including police and army officers and judges involved in the illegal drug trade in the Philippines.
At a wake of a soldier in Davao City on early Sunday morning, Duterte unexpectedly named officials, to include high-ranking and low-ranking police officers, that are on intelligence radars because of their involvement in illegal drugs.
One of the local chief executives named was Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog whose city, Iloilo, is the center of Iloilo Province which was named by the president as the most “shabulized” province in the country, referring to the magnitude and extent of shabu use in the area.
Also named were Luzon mayors which include:
- Mayor Renaldo Flores of La union
- Mayor Dante Garcia of Tubao in La union
- Mayor Martin De Guzman of Buwang in La Union
- Mayor Marjorie Apil Salazar of Lasam in Cagayan
- Mayor Goto Violago of San Rafael in Bulacan
- Mayor Marino Morales of Mabalakat in Pampanga
- Mayor Felix Castilo of Abra, Ex Mayor Eufronio Aregel of Agoo in La Union
- Mayor Jesuceleste Boying of Bolinao in Pangasinan
- Mayor Jose pepe Miranda of Santiago City in Isabela
- Mayor Vicente Amante of San Pablo City in Laguna
- Mayor Ryan Dolor of Buan in Batangas
- and Vice Mayor Edgardo Trinidad of El nido, Palawan.
Aside from Mabilog, other local government executives in Iloilo Province were also named including:

- Mayor Marciano Malones of Maasin
- and Vice-Mayor Francis Ansing Amboy of Maasin.

Mayor Rolando Espinosa of Albuena in Leyte who already surrendered to PNP Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa was also mentioned by Duterte.

- Judge Navidad of Calbayog City

- and Judge Dapa – Siargao.
Aside from five police generals and ex-generals said to be coddling syndicates, Duterte’s list also revealed a very long line of police and military officers doing the same thing.
The president gave the said personalities 24 hours to surrender and he assured them that they shall have their own time in court.
