Facebook Messenger has recently became one of the most popular channels for communication over the online world. The company behind the software just cast out an important update on the application.
On its goal to expand the services offered by Facebook, it is a good news that users of Facebook’s messenger has already reached 1 billion as announced by the company last Wednesday.
The application is user-friendly and many netizens love to use Messenger because aside from the unlimited chat that could go on even in free data mode, there are a variety of stickers that add fun to the conversation.
Previous reports also noted the company’s plan for encrypted messages on Messenger to strengthen the privacy in using the application.
In a report in ABS-CBN, David Marcus, Facebook’s vice president, said that, “As part of this journey to one billion, we focused on creating the best possible experiences in modern-day communications”.
The Vice President also did mention of the markets that are strongholds of Messenger.
