The son of the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sen. Bongbong Marcos continue to surge in terms of popularity as he took the lead in the Vice Presidential survey conducted by Pulse Asia and ABS-CBN with an impressive 28 percent rating which is higher compared to the previous frontrunner Sen. Chiz Escudero who got 21 percent.
Sen. Francis Escudero went down in terms of number as he is now statistically tied with the Liberal Party Vice Presidential candidate Leni Robredo who is slightly higher at 22 percent.
The running mate of Mayor Rody Duterte, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano was fourth in the in the Vice Presidential race according to Pulse Asia with 15 percent voter’s preference, he is followed by Sen. Antonio Trillanes with 5 percent and Sen. Gringo Honasan with 4 percent.
Pulse Asia also released a questionaire wherein respondents where asked for alternative choices in the Vice Presidential race, Sen. Escudero comes first with 29 percent, Cayetano got 16 percent, while Marcos and Robredo were tied at 11 percent.
During the previous surveys, the Nacionalista Party member and independent vice presidential candidate and running mate of Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Sen. Bongbong Marcos was trailing behind the dominance of Sen. Chiz Escudero.
