Tracy Warshal was given the gift of a lifetime after she made an effort to pay the $7 grocery bill of a stranger without knowing that the same man will also pay back for her good deeds. The 39-year-old scheduling coordinator for the Piedmont Cancer Institute chanced upon a stranger who could not play his grocery bill, she suddenly stepped up and paid the bill for the stranger.
Several weeks later after the incident, an unprecedented joy brought to Tracy’s life when she received a pleasant surprised which is the kind of thing she neer expected.
During an interview with the media such as ABC News, she narrated that she saw the man behind her in the line struggling to pay for his grocery just days before Christmas at an Aldi supermarket because the stranger lost his wallet. Without asking and saying much, Tracy offered to pay the bills, then wished the strangers a “Merry Christmas.”
The man whom Tracy helped asked her name, and she gave only her first name-Tracy. The name Tracy was more than enough for the man who also noticed that Tracy was working “Piedmont” due to the shirt worn by the good samaritan Tracy.
A few weeks later, Tracy Warshal received on of her greatest gift as she was informed that $10,000 had been donated to her company with an accompanying name, it was not the donor’s name who wanted to be anonymous but it was named after Tracy.
The donor who wanted to remain anonymous contacted the Piedmont Healthcare’s Vice President of Philanthropy Mendal Bouknight to extend his gratitude towards one of their employees. Aside from extendng gratitude to the company, he made a donation to the center to the tune of $10,000 in Tracy’s name.
The story of Tracy and the unidentified donor was shared on Piedmont Healthcare Facebook Page and earned praises online. Despite the overwhelming attention received by Tracy, she said her act of kindness was ‘instinctual’ and anyone could have done the same if they were in her place.
