The phenomenal love team of the Philippines this year, the AlDub love team featuring Alden Richards and Vice Ganda made headlines earlier after their supporting role in the MMFF-entry movie broke the records set by Vice Ganda’s previous movie.
In the history of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) the love team Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza was able to break the record set by box office king Vice Ganda as their movie “My Bebe Love” earned a whooping P60.5 million in just one of showing nationwide.
According to a news report posted by GMA News, the movie “My Bebe Love,” already earned P60,463,169.57 in ticket sales nationwide during the first day of showing on December 25, 2015.
The movie “My Bebe Love” is now considered as the “highest opening gross among all Filipino films of all time,” breaking the record set by Vice Ganda’s “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” the movie that earned more than p53 million during the opening day.
GMA News revealed that the ticket movie sales of the movie “My Bebe Love” was recorded at P33 million in Metro Manila alone, while in the provinces, ticket sales already reached P27 million.
The movie “My Bebe Love” still dominates the MMFF 2015 box office top-runner as it became the No. 1 most watched movie compared to the other entries like the movie “Beauty and the Beastie” of Vice Ganda and Coco Martin.
