Eight MMFF 2015 Movies Earned a Total of P271 Million as of December 26

The organizers of the country’s most popular movie festival, the Metro Manila Film Festival 2015 released the official box office income of the eight entry movie of this year’s festival. According to the MMDA and MMFF organizers, the eight movies have earned a total of P271 million as of Saturday, December 26, 2015.

The MMFF released all the eight official entry movies on Christmas Day, December 25, 2015. MMDA Chairman Emerson Carlos revealed to the media that the film festival entries grossed P150 million on its first day in the box office.

The P271 million box office income this year is higher compared to last year’s box office income which was recorded at P182 million on the second day of showing in various theaters nationwide.

MMDA Chairman Emerson Carlos also noted that the Top Four (4) movie in terms of box office earnings are, in no particular order, Haunted Mansion, My Bebe Love, Beauty and the Beastie, and All You Need is Pag-ibig.

The film fest committee did not give a breakdown of the figures for each of the participating movies.
