Phenomenal comedian and box office king, Vice Ganda finally wins “Magpakasikat Week” this year, his first ever in one of It’s Showtime’s segment. Vice Ganda was declared as the champion alongside Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz who made a spectacular and mind-boggling performance.
During the Saturday’s episode of It’s Showtime, the Kapamilya Channel announced the winner, capping off the sixth anniversary celebration of the top-rating noontime variety show on national TV.
Vice Ganda together with Jugs and Tedy, captivated the “madlang people” and judges alike with a live production number that utilized several optical illusions.
The performance of the phenomenal comedian Vice Ganda was also supported by his friends in the entertainment industry featuring a cameo appearance of Coco Martin, James Reid and Nadine Lustre — the co-stars of Vice Ganda for the upcoming 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Beauty and the Bestie.”
The winning performance of Vice Ganda was his first ever, so far in the history of It’s Showtime. Due to the victory of Vice Ganda with Jugs and Teddy, a P300,000 worth of cash will be given to their chosen charity.
Placing second and third were the duo of Karylle and Jhong Hilario; and the team of Anne Curtis, Kim Atienza and Eric “Eruption” Tai, taking home P200,000 and P100,000 for their chosen charities, respectively.
