Unfortunately, the medical experts have to do the intricate operation without the use of anesthetics so he could make use of his brain throughout the procedure.
This is to ensure doctors that the patient won’t suffer in inadvertently caused lasting cognitive damage during the operation.
Bajec-Lapajne was a professional opera singer.
In the video, while the singer was being operated he was able to sing his piece, serenading those who are in the operating room.
The surgeons asked him to sing in two different keys to see if he could still notice the difference.

The amazing moment followed as the surgeons fiddled in his brain stopping him from singing. And after few moments, he started singing again.
