A distinct soft voice came first on “The Voice Kids” followed by a powerful voice as 12-year-old lass from Angeles, Pampanga belted out “Chandelier” on Sunday.
Sassa Dagdag wowed the coaches with her song rendition of Sia’s hit, all turned and vied for her.
Coming from a musically inclined family, the 12-year-old auditionee made Broadway star Lea Salonga admire her song choice.
While Coach Sarah Geronimo praised the kid for her stage presence.
While camp Kawayan coach Bamboo was more than amazed by the girl’s performance as he found the whole of it interesting.
“I liked it all, tapos ‘yung dulo mo, when you suddenly took it soft, that showed me you want to make it your own, and make it different. I want you,” he told the young artist.
Sassa eventually chose to be coached by the rock icon, now joining 13 other young artists.
