The President of the Republic of the Philippines released to the media his official Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN). Based upon the summary of the President’s SALN, he is richer by P1.8 million this year as he inherited a residential lot in Antipolo last year.
Pres. Aquino declared a net worth of P68,311,644 in his 2014 statement of assets, liabilities, and net worth (SALN), up from P66,494,183 in 2013. The SALN of national government elected officials in the Philippines are submitted yearly as mandated by the Philippine constitution. The Net Worth is the total of an individual’s assets minus his liabilities.
Accoring to the President’s SALN, he listed real a new real properties, a residential lot in Antipolo which he declared as an inheritance which had an acquisition cost of P507,393.
President Aquino’s other real properties include a residential lot in Tarlac City purchased in 1997 (P718,200), the family house and lot in Times Street, Quezon City that he inherited in 2010 (P24,310,760), a commercial lot in San Juan City he inherited in 2010 (7,016,906), an agricultural land in Tarlac City that he purchased in 1987 (P113,750), and another agricultural land in Capas, Tarlac he inherited in 1979 (P2,818).
Based upon the SALN of President Aquino his cash on hand and in banks grew from P28,778,920 in 2013 to P30,088,988 in 2014, increasing by P1.3 million. The President of the Republic of the Philippines listed No Liabilities on his official SALN for the year 2014.
