Watch: Kokoi Baldo Performed “Could You Be Loved” Tops Viewers Votes

Bacolod-based Reggae singer Kokoi Baldo once again tops the viewers votes during the Live Show performance of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 on Saturday night. Kokoi Baldo performed another hit from the “King of Reggae” Bob Marley titled “Could Be Love.”

During the performance of Kokoi Baldo he earned rave reviews from both Coach Bamboo of Kamp Kawayan and his coach, the pop star princess, Sarah Geronimo.

Sarah Geronimo was quoted as saying “Naging vocal ka about how you miss your hometown, yung isla. Pero I do believe na iyan ang tahanan ninyo,” Geronimo said.

“Bawat stage na tinutuntungan ninyo ay nagiging tahanan ninyo. At may purpose kung bakit nandirito ka pa sa competition. You are one of a kind. And whether you make it or not, isa kang importanteng haligi ng Philippine music industry,” added Geronimo.

The 34-year-old Kokoi Baldo, one of the 4-chair turner in The Voice Season 2, received the highest number of votes for the night garnering 41.61% of the viewers votes for Team Sarah Geronimo.

Kokoi Baldo will moved on to the next round of the competition alongside his fellow Team Sarah members, Jason Dy and Monique Lualhati. Former Rivermaya singer Jason Fernandez was eliminated during the Saturday’s edition of the The Voice Live Shows.
