Jacob Benedicto, the former “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” housemate, is set to launch his debut album as he revealed on the game show “The Singing Bee” on Thursday January 9, 2015.
Dubbed as the “Cutie Crooner of Parañaque,” Jacob Benedicto also said that his solo album will be released early this year. He is also promoting his single “Pagkat Ikaw” under Star Music.
“My upcoming single po ako called ‘Pagakat Ikaw’ which is part of the compilation album to be released by Star Music po,” he said. “Early this year, sana February lalabas na ang solo album ko,” he added.
Aside from the album that he is working on, Jacob Benedicto also stars on the ABS-CBN top-rating series “Dream Dad” with the child actress Jana Agoncillo and kapamilya actor and heartthrob Zanjoe Marudo.
In the series, Jacob Benedicto plays the role of Jaymart, one of the staffs of Zanjoe Marudo’s milk company ENS Dairy Corporation with Beauty Gonzalez, Ketchup Eusebio and Maxene Magalona.
The 21-year-old singer was also one of the contestants of the first season of the singing competition “The Voice of The Philippines” before she joined the reality Tv series PBB in April.
Jacob Benedicto grew up in Indonesia where he discovered his talent in singing. He also became a drummer of a band before they moved to the Philippines for good.
