The former kapamilya actress Empress Schuck said that she has no ill feelings towards her home network ABS-CBN. However, he got hurt when she felt the network giant is no longer concerned about her career.
In an interview with PEP, the former Star Magic artist said that she got hurt when the kapamilya network did not give her a regular work for one year so her talent manager decided to seek projects for her to the other networks.
“Nasaktan talaga ako. More than a year na akong walang TV show. Puro guestings, puro movie, pero hindi naman teleserye. “Ayun, naghanap na nga ako ng mga tao. They started asking na kung nasaan ako. Ayun, I really got hurt talaga,” she said.
Empress Schuck said that she was hesitant to leave the ABS-CBN network but after they allowed her to do a project with other network, she was relieved. She added that she has no ill feelings towards the management.
“Pero noong nagpaalam ako, ‘tapos they said yes, okay na ‘yon. Wala nang sama ng loob kasi nagpaalam naman ako nang maayos. Na-inform naman sila, hindi naman ako umalis nang basta-basta lang,” she said.
Empress Schuck will star in the upcoming GMA series “Kailan Ba Tama ang Mali” with Geoff Eigenmann and Max Collins. However, she clarified that she is currently a freelance artist and she has no exclusive contract with a network.
Empress Schuck started her career on GMA Network appearing in several TV series including “Munting Anghel” and “Etheria.” She moved to ABS-CBN in 2005.
