The kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales admitted that she got hurt during the confrontation scene between her and Kaye Abad in the hit TV series “Two Wives,” which also stars Jason Abalos.
In a press conference for her this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Shake, Rattle, & Roll XV,” the former “Star Circle Quest” contestant told the reporters that she can’t avoid getting hurt since their director wants the scene to be realistic, adding that she and Kaye Abad had no problems about it.
“Hindi naman maiiwasan ‘yung magkasakitan talaga kayo kasi siyempre gusto ng direktor na ganito ang mangyari, nagkakasabunutan kayo, pero wala naman pong personalan,” she said. “Okay kami ni [Kaye Abad]. Trabaho lang,”
In the top-rating series, Erich Gonzales plays the role of Janine, a mistress who fell in love with the character of Victor, played by Jason Abalos, the husband of Yvonne (Kaye Abad).
The 24-year-old star admitted also that she was bashed in the social media because of her mistress role, but she is happy about it because it proves that she is doing her work well.
“May nagsabi sa akin na kapag hindi naapektuhan ang viewers sa acting mo, hindi okay ang ginagawa mo so very happy naman po ako [kahit may mga bashers],” she said.
“Two Wives,” which also stars Patrick Garcia, is the Filipino adaptation of the hit Korean TV series of the same title. Directed by FM Reyes and Ricahrd Arellano, the series airs from Monday to Friday after “Forevermore” on Primetime Bida block.
