International singer Timothy “Timmy” Pavino performed the famous Martin Nievera hit song “You Are My Song,” during the blind audition of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 on October 26, 2014 episode of the show. The second season of The Voice PH premiered on Sunday and conquered the top Twitter trending topics not only nationwide but also worldwide.

During the blind audition on Sunday, the 24-year-old singer, Timmy Pavino who hails from Seattle, California impressed international singer Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo Manalac who have turned their red chairs during the audition.
Timmy Pavino showcased how prepared he was for the competition as he became the first member of Team Lea, who was also the first judge to turn her chair and chose Timmy Pavino. According to Coach Lea, everything she looks for a singer is with Pavino. She was quoted as saying “Timmy, everything na hinahanap ko sa isang singer, nasa ‘yo. It’s this internal battle na, ano pa ‘yung gagawin ko, pero ang galing-galing talaga, hindi ko pwedeng palampasin,” Coach Lea stated.
Coach Lea Salonga, Coach Sarah Geronimo and Coach Bamboo competed for the Filipino-American singer Timothy Pavino but the singer who visited the country to take good care of her grandmother, decided to chose Coach Lea Salonga, the winning coach of The Voice of the Philippines Season 1 featuring Mitoy Yonting as the grand champion.
Timothy Pavino is one of the few aspirant who is also considered as a veteran performer, he started singing at the age of just seven (7) years old at the Nippon Kan Theater in Seattle and the Meany Hall of the University of Washington.
The Fil-Am singer from Seattle also performed with bigger audiences, he was able to performed on stage with some of the Filipino international artists like Kuh Lehdesma, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez, Basil Valdez, Sharon Cuneta and Van Ness Wu of the famous Taiwanese group F4.
Timmy Pavino also joined TV5’s Kanta Pilipinas and performed with GMA 7’s Walang Tulugan and ABS-CBN’s ASAP Rocks in a rare duet performance with Angeline Quinto.
