Asian Games 2014 Medal Standings (Philippine Standing)

The 2014 Asian Games 2014 in Incheon, South Korea is dominated by no other than China which continues to dominate with a total of 155 medals on the 6th day of the competition.

China has earned 79 gold medals, 42 silver medals and 34 bronze medals as of September 26, 2014. Following the line is China’s rival Japan which has earned 96 medals.

Landing on the third spot is the promising Korean squad which has gained a  total of 92 medals while placing on the fourth spot is Kazakhstan which has earned a total of 30 medals as of press time.

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was placed on the fifth spot with 22 medals.

Meanwhile, the powerhouse Philippine team is gearing up with 3 medals; 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.

Philippine Team garnered two silver medals over the win hailed by Jean Claude Saclag in Men’s Sanda -60kg and Daniel Parantac, Men’s Taijiquan & Taijijian All-Round both in Wushu while Francisco Solis in Men’s Sanda -56kg took home the bronze medal.

Gilas Pilipinas on the other hand failed to snatch a medal after losing to their game against Iran with 68-63. The Philippine National Basketball Team is set to face Qatar.

The 2014 Asian Games participated by at least 45 countries kicked off last September 19, 2014 and it is slated to end on October 4, 2014.
