Anne Curtis encouraged Vice Ganda to enter politics
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda had this reaction when his It’s Showtime co-host Anne Curtis told him to run, and she will definitely vote for him.
Vice is known for being vocal about his political views and opinions. There had been instances in which fans and supporters pushed for him to enter politics. However, the comedian-host has been debunking this.
Last year, award-winning director Lav Diaz shared a statement urging Vice to run for President in the 2028 elections. A few days ago, Palanca award-winning writer Jerry Gracio echoed the same desire to see Vice as one of the presidential candidates in the next election.

In the episode of Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime on Friday, January 23, Anne Curtis urged Vice Ganda to run, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment.
“Alam mo dapat, tumakbo ka kaya. Iboboto kita,” Anne said during the Laro Laro Pick segment. The comedian-host had a funny initial reaction.
He said that since he was young, he has been running. Apparently, he was talking about the joke that he is a horse. However, in a serious tone, he said, “Itigil niyo na ‘yung mga takbo-takbo na ‘yan. Bina-bash talaga ako nang wala akong ginagawa.”
Then, Vice expressed that he does not want to be entangled in politics.
“I am a beauty queen. I am not politician. I’m just a beautiful face in the industry,” he said, adding that he is not entertaining the thought.

Vice Ganda also stressed that he is so beautiful and happy, and that peace is surrounding him. Then, the crowd chanted “Pres Ganda.”
The comedian-host said that enough with the joking already. Then, he said that they are just joking around as sibling and people should not believe it. “Iba-bash na naman ako ng mga alaga nang mga tatakbo talaga. Akala talaga nila totoong tatakbo ako. Naku huwag niyo po akong sinasama-sama,” the Unkabogable Star said.
