Eraserheads Reunites in London Concert

The Philippines’ leading local band, Eraserheads will have a reunion concert in London on Friday night, April 4, 2014. Before their highly anticipated reunion concert, the band toured the city on a vintage bus together with their families and friends.

The Eraserheads Reunion Concert in London will be held on Friday night at the Eventim Apollo Theatre, the venue can accommodate up to 5,0000 spectators, it is considered as one of London’s major entertainment center.

Aside from touring the scenic beauties of downtown London, they also visited and dropped by Abbey Road, famous for “The Beatles,” iconic album cover during the late 1969. Eraserheads noted during the early 90’s that they idolized The Beatles also known as the Fab Four.

The Eraserheads band composed of Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Marcus Adoro, and Buddy Zabala didn’t miss the opportunity as they took photos of themselves crossing Abby Road as what their idol had done during their time.

The Filipino version of The Beatles, Eraserheads, spent some time with their fans before they went on a tour in London. The band became famous during the 90’s wherein they peaked with their popularity.

Eraserheads was disbanded in 2002 but they already made a reunion concerts held in various international cities such as Singapore and Dubai last year.

During an interview with ABS-CBN, the band (–foul word(s) removed–)ured to their fans that they will give them an all-out performance. Eraserheads lead singer and band leader Ely Buendia was quoted as saying “We had one very long rehearsal and we prepared a lot of new stuff that we missed playing live,” said Buendia.
