The Game 4 of the UAAP Women’s Volleyball Finals between the Ateneo Lady Eagles vs. the La Salle Lady Archers is considered by most sports enthusiasts as a sure shot to destiny and history as the two teams will battle in a do-or-die match at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

UAAP archrivals La Salle and Ateneo will face one last time in this year’s UAAP Women’s Volleyball championship with the game schedule to start at around 4:00 PM. According to the MOA Arena management the tickets of the Finale Game were already sold-out as fans jockeying each other to grab a piece of seat in the highly anticipated match up.
Although the La Salle Lady Archers dominated the UAAP Women’s Volleyball with a sweep of the double-round eliminations but Ateneo did not gave up and chased La Salle in the championship round, and wanted to spoil the dream of La Salle’s for a four-peat performance and eight over-all championship.
Ateneo’s win against La Salle today will proved and validate their claim that they were destined to win it all in UAAP Volleyball after their Cinderella-run in the finals. The Lady Eagles p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed a gutsy stand by Adamson Lady Falcons and secured a win over top-seeded National University Bulldogs to force a title series against La Salle.
Aside from Ateneo’s dream of upsetting La Salle in Women’s Volleyball, the Lady Spikers is also aiming to meet a milestone in women’s volleyball and make a history of blowing up La Salle despite their thrice-to-beat advantage in UAAP’s history.
Ateneo defeated La Salle in Game 3 of the UAAP Women’s Volleyball Finals and forced a Game Four Do-or-Die game or winner take tall which will take place a few hours from now.
The La Salle Spikers triumph on the other hand will complete their fourth straight volleyball championship, a rare feat by any UAAP team. The last time the UAAP produced a four-feat performance in UAAP was courtesy of the Far Eastern University during the 1970’s.
