Singer actress Jolina Magdangal welcomed her first child with husband Mark Escueta, on Tuesday afternoon, February 18, 204 as confirmed by the singer’s manager.

The 35-year-old Jolina Magdangal gave birth by cesarean section at around 2:21 PM at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa City according to the singer’s manager Perry Lansigan in a report posted by Yahoo!.
Jolina Magdangal and Rivermaya drummer Mark Escueta got married last November 21, 2011. According to Perry Lansigan, the baby boy weighed 6.9 pounds at birth.
Lansigan added further that “Tuwang tuwa ‘yung doctors and nurses kasi ang puti daw ni Pele,” said Lansigan. The couple Jolina Magdangal and Mark Escueta named their baby their first baby boy as Pele Iñigo.
Before Jolina Magdangal’s delivery, she took to Instagram and share to her followers that she had been admitted to the hospital. She was quoted as saying “Today is ‘waiting for our baby’ Day 18,” Jolina said in the caption of a photo of her hand with intravenous insertion.
The former teen idol, Jolina added further that “We are still waiting. More contractions but still less pain. Thank you Pele di mo pinapahirapan si mama.” she said.
During previous interviews, Jolina and Mark revealed that will name their son as Pele Iñigo because Mark’s idol is football legend and Brazilian superstar Pele whose meaning is miracle.
On the latest post of Mark Escueta on his official Instagram account he welcomes his baby boy’s first sunlight after birth. He was quoted as saying “Eto ang unang sunrise mo, anak. Pramis, marami pa tayong makikitang mas maganda diyan, kasama si Mama. Thank you muna tayo kay Papa Jesus at dahil sa kanya, safe ikaw at si Mama. Mamaya, sama ka sa akin, bili natin si Mama ng flowers ha?
