PAGASA reported that the Tropical Depression Agaton is located at 185 kilometer East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or at 305 km Southeast of Surigao City. The weather Bulletin Number Six for Bagyong Agaton was released at around 5:00 PM of January 18, 2014.
The Tropical Depression Agaton has a maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center which is located at 8.6°N 128.0°E. PAGASA forecasts that the Tropical Depression will remain stationary.

The Public Storm Warning Signal over Southern Leyte is now lowered but Public Storm Warning Signal No. 1 is still raised at the following areas:

- Siargao Is.
- Surigao del Sur
- Dinagat Province

- Agusan del Sur
- Davao Oriental
- Compostella Valley
PAGASA forecasts that this coming Sunday afternoon the Tropical Depression is expected to be at 185 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, on Monday afternoon it will be at 150 km Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur and on Tuesday afternoon it will be 100 km Southeast of Davao City.
