The representative of the Philippines to the annual Miss International beauty pageant, Miss Bea Rose Santiago is considered by pageant experts as one of the title contender in the competition hosted by Japan.

The 22-year-old Bea Rose Santiago will be bidding for the Philippines fifth Miss International crown, the last time that the country took the Miss International was way back the year 2005 courtesy of Miss Lara Quigaman.
Aside from the Masbate-born Bea Rose, strong competitors includes Miss Venezuela and Miss Netherlands. According to the records of the Miss International beauty pageant, the Philippines ranked as the most number of titles with four only two titles behind the overall leader Venezuela with six crowns.
Before Bea Rose Santiago represents the Philippines in the Miss International 2013 beauty pageant she was crown as Binibining Pilipinas-International 2013 and awarded with Binibining Avon, one of the sponsor awards in the Binibining Pilipinas 2013.
The international beauty pageant community is currently focusing on the Miss International 2013 as they follows the path of the Philippines and Venezuela in the worldwide beauty contest. The Philippines and Venezuela have two crowns each, Miss World and Miss Supranational for the Philippines while Miss Universe and Miss Earth for Venezuela.
The Miss International 2013 will be held in Tokyo, Japan tomorrow, December 17, 2013.
