Paul Lee was chosen as the PBA’s Player of the Week for helping his team, Rain or Shine as it open its title retention bid with two straight wins against their rival in the Philippines most popular basketball league.

The 24-year-old Paul Lee averaged a total of 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game during the first two games of the Elasto Painters against the San Mig Coffee Mixers and the GlobalPort Batang Pier.
Rain or Shine head coach, Yeng Guiao applauded Paul Lee’s performance during the first two games of the Elasto Paintes. He was quoted as saying that, “Paul worked very hard in the off-conference. He deserves whatever success he is reaping right now.” Coach Guiao stated.
The PBA Player of the Week Award was given by the Accel-PBA Press Corps for the period of August 14-18, 2013. The former UE Warrios scored 12 points and 3 rebounds with 2 blocks on his first game against San Mig Coffee giving his team a 79-75 victory.
Paul Lee made an even better performance on his second game with the Elasto Painters as he scored with 15 points and 7 rebounds as they dominated the GlobalPort Batang Pier with the 20-point victory 94-74.
