LeBron James Coming to Manila on July 23, 2013

NBA Superstar and reigning MVP LeBron James will visit the Philippines this coming July 23, 2013 as announced by Nike Philippines. The company will host the two-time NBA champion for the first time in the country.

Filipino basketball fans will have an opportunity to meet Miami Heat’s biggest attraction the 6’8″ forward LeBron James. James is one of Nike’s biggest endorsers since the year 2003.

James was selected with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers and led the team to its first Finals appearance in 2007. Last 20110 he left Cleveland and headed towards the Miami Heat.

James together with the Dwyane Wade and Cris Bosh captured their first title together last 2012 when they defeated OKC Thunder and for the second straight year they captured the NBA title this time against the San Antonio Spurs.

Aside from being a two-time NBA champion, “King James” is a four-time NBA Most Valuable Player, a two-time NBA Finals MVP, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, an NBA scoring champion, and the NBA Rookie of the Year.

Nike Philippines announced that tickets will be given for free starting July 17 at 12 noon at the Nike Park in Bonifacio Global City. Only two tickets will be given per person.
