The highly-popular soap opera for the last 30 years is set to return to TV screen as Andrea Brillantes will be featured in a remake of the Julie Vega starer soap opera.
The announcement was made by ABS-CBN on Monday that the remake will be bannered by the 10-year-old Andrea Brillantes who was formerly known as Blyth Gorostiza during her “Goin Bulilit” days in 2010.
Andrea was also cast as the young Jackie, later played by Jessy Mendiola in the top-rating TV series Budoy. The child actress was chosen to play the title role of a poor girl named Anna Liza.
Andrea Brillantes is not new to acting as she already appeared on series such as the “E-Boy,” “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan” and “Ina Kapatid Anak.” The child actress will worked with some of the Kapamilya Channel’s veteran actress such as Denise Laurel, Kaye Abad and actors such as Carlo Aquino and Zanjoe Marudo.
The upcoming show will be directed by Theodore Boborol.
