Two of the most prominent members of the Philippine Azkals may not be available for the team in the early matches of the 2012 Suzuki Cup, they were Stephan Schrock and Angel Guirado.
Both Schrock and Guirado are unlikely to be released by their respective football clubs in time for the first stage of the Cup according to Coach Michael Weiss.
Filipino-German Schrock plays for Bundesliga first division squad TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, while Guirado, a Filipino-Spanish, is with Salgaocar FC in India.
The main reasons for their unavailability is that the AFF Suzuki Cup was not included in an official international FIFA date, although Schrock can be available on December.
The Azkals 35-man-pool of players may also miss the service of Neil Etheridge, Dennis Cagara and Jerry Lucena but Weiss is confident with his boys right now.
