American Idol finalist Jessica Sanchez have finally met the highest-ranking official of the Philippines in the person of President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III in Los Angeles, California.
The singer and the President had a short meeting on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles Airport for a courtesy call. Jessica Sanchez met with PNoy who introduced her to DTI Sec. Mar Roxas, Foreign Affairs Sec. Roberto Rosario, Tourism Sec. Ramon Jimenez and Amb(–foul word(s) removed–)ador Jose Cuisia to name a few.
The President told Jessica that she was being supported by millions of Filipinos in the Philippines during her stint in the American Idol 11. President PNoy even joked that she should learn how to speak few Tagalog words if she is preparing to visit the Philippines.
The President of the Republic of the Philippines is on official visit to the United States, he gave Jessica a yellow souvenir baller IDwristband with a “PNoy” engraving.
