Juan Manuel Marquez and his trainer Ignacio “Nacho” Beristain were disappointed in the decision of judges that resulted the controversial loss of their team during the trilogy bout between ‘Pacquiao versus Marquez’ on Saturday evening (Sunday morning in the Philippines, November 13, 2011) in MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Mexican team believed that their hero won the bout because many fans and boxing analysts also believed that Marquez had better performance and deserves victory.

According to the report of the ABS-CBNNews.com Fernando Beltran the manager of the Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez said that the decision of judges to give the victory in favor to the Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao will greatly affect individual’s perspective of the boxing competition.

Beltran is pointing the scorecard of judge Glen Trowbridge who gave the winning 4-points in favor to Pacquiao, 116-112.

Beltran believed that the fight was very close and the 4-points will not suffice for the win of Pacquiao. He also recommend to fire these judges because they have changed the impression of the boxing competition.

Omar Chavez a Mexican boxer also believes that Marquez deserved to win the title. He said that Marquez fighting style and good combination were perfect and enough for him to give the victory.

NBA player Jalen Rose who had expected Marquez to win the fight was also disappointed with the decision.

Meanwhile, in a report statement from the Team Pacquiao, they believed that the decision of judges is correct because the judges knew more about than what we think of.
