Shamcey Supsup had once again proven that she got what it takes to represent the Philippines to the Miss Universe 2011 competition as she graced the preliminary competition held September 8 in Sao Paolo, Brazil with her elegance, beauty and charm.
Along with 89 beauties representing the different countries around the globe, Shamcey had competed for the evening gown and swimsuit category.
She had earned numerous positive comments not just from the Filipinos but as well as foreign observers worldwide.
Shamcey had once again made the country proud as she shines among the rest. Her poise, bearing and the coined “tsunami walk” had been noticed in the preliminary.
The result of the recent preliminary competition will be added to the scores in the pageant night to be held on September 12 in order to determine who will be making it to the top 15.
Furthermore, on that same night, the top 16 spot which the people’s choice via online poll will be revealed.
Based on the recent hot picks conducted by Missosology.org, there were three countries which they considered to earn the top 16 spot, any of the three Asian beauties from Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
Earlier, as the competition started to rule out, it was the Philippines bet Shamcey Supsup who had been leading several independent and unofficial online poll like on Missosology.org and from the Telemundo. Furthermore, in the website of globalbeauties, Shamcey was also one of the GB top 15 favorites.
However, the basis of the People’s choice spot or the top 16 would be coming from the official online poll managed by the Ms. Universe website.
In the 60th year of Miss Universe, this is the first time that an online poll was conducted in order to determine the people’s favorite who will be given an automatic spot in the Top 16.
