Last Friday, the famous, impulsive and ever since very confident Simon Cowell said that his upcoming show “The X Factor” would beat the competition between United State television and bring down the nation’s most watched show, “American Idol

Simon Cowell is the executive producer and the very straight forward judge of the U.S. version of the show “The X Factor“. “Game changer” was his term for the singing contest and according to him the show is “completely different” when it comes to creativeness compared to his old show “American Idol”.

The $5 million cash will be given away to the winner of the show and that would beat the TV ratings of “Idol” when it debuts on Fox in September, Cowell said to television journalists.

“If I didn’t think we could — and its not just ‘Idol’, it’s any show — we don’t enter something for the silver medal. You do it because you want to be number one, and for the next few months we are going to throw everything at this to try and make it the best show on TV,” “I wouldn’t have made the show unless I thought it would be different…we see this as a game changer,” Cowell said.

“Idol” and “X Factor“, both talent shows are broadcast by Fox. It believed that the show of Simon Cowell will reverse the netwok’s historically inconsistent ratings in the fall TV season.

According to Kevin ReillyFox entertainment president, if the “X Factor” will double what they are expecting the show will do in the fall, it will be very difficult for the other guys to reckon with.

The “X Factor” shows the come back of the rough yet very famous Simon Cowell to the U.S. television after he quit on “American Idol” in 2010, he was in the judges’ seat for 10 years. Together with him is Paula Abdul.

“X Factor” are welcoming contestants 13 years-old and abovesinging groups are also allowed.
