Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2011 Shamcey Supsup have been training well in preparation to the upcoming Miss Universe 2011 competition to be held September 12 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Supsup was a neophyte when it comes to joining pageant however, in her first try she immediately risen into success.
After the success of Venus Raj who grabbed the crown for Miss Universe 2010 4th runner-up, Supsup’s colleagues, friends and even Raj are confident that she will get the coveted Miss Universe crown for this year with “hands down.”
Raj had said that she had seen Supsup’s improvement starting from the first day, way back in the screening days. She added that from the manner of walking like a man before, today Supsup had transformed into a woman ready to conquer the universe.
Supsup is an achiever and she don’t settle to just good enough, one of her friend had said. Academically, Supsup had graduated as Magna cum laude in the University of the Philippines. Moreover, she had also been a topnotch in the architecture board exam.
Shamcey Supsup is a native of General Santos, the home of the champions like Manny Pacquaio.
Aside from the dramatic improvement that she had, Mary Jean Lastimosa, Bb. Pilipinas 2011 second runner-up and Supsup’s close friend had mentioned the development of Shamcey’s “smashing body.”
With Supsup beauty and brain combination and strong determination to make her country proud, chances for her to end successful in the upcoming pageant is no longer a surprise.
Quoted from Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism Isabella Manjon, she said that Shamcey is a type of a person who can do whatever she likes once she had set her mind towards it.
There might be pressure around especially that she will be taking steps after the success of Venus Raj in the said competition; however, her companions in the recent Binibining Pilipinas as well as her friends had full trust in her. In fact, they had told Shamcey based on the report published in the local newspaper that she will be part of the league of the worlds best during the prestigious pageant.
