Two Fil-Am Dancers got into Top 20 of “So You Think You Can Dance”

Indeed the Filipino Talent always shines above the rest and this was again proven by two Filipino-American who got into the top 20 list of the hit American Dance show program “So You Think You Can Dance” season 8.

Out of the thousands of pairs who auditioned in the said program, Tadd Gadduang and Marko Germar together with their partners where recognized as one of the best in the season and was given the chance to compete in the weekly showdown.

Tadd Gadduang who came from Utah with his partner Jordan Casanova impressed the judge with their hip hop moves which made them as one of the tough team in the competition.

When interviewed by the media, Gadduang admitted that it was his older sister who teaches him how to dance.

While on the other hand, his co Fil-Am contestant Marko Germar who was originally from Guam but moved to LA 3 years ago to follow his dream to become a professional dancer auditioned in the show with his partner Melanie Moore.

Marko was really happy that they were able to get to the top 20 and added it was such an honor to be part of the show knowing that since childhood this was his dream and it’s already coming true.

He also shared to the media his story on how his dreams were almost come to an end. Germar was shot by a robber and the bullet was not removed by the doctors from his arm until now but his perseverance to reach his dream made Marko fought and said that this won’t let him stop from dancing.

The performance of Marko and Melanie were recognized by the judge as the best act during the first night of the competition thus making them as one of the toughest contender in the contest.

The two fil-am dancers are now hoping that the Filipino community in America will support them by voting until the end of the competition.
