Sony Corp to restore network in Japan and in Asia

sonyAfter the hacking incident that had took place April 19 this year, Sony Corp, a giant entertainment and electronics company owned by Japanese is on their way to restore its operation in Japan and other Asian countries.

To recall, it’s almost two weeks ago when the said company had started to restore and relaunch their network in U.S, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.

Part of the company’s restoration of their network is the offering of the “welcome back” package in order to regain the trust of their customers whose information’s are at stake.

The mentioned hacking incident became one of the high-profile hacking events that affected one of the world’s largest corporation bringing Sony in the midst of queries and controversial all pointing to the kind of security system they had.

Pertaining to the corporation’s plan of restoring services to Asia this Saturday, Japan’s Trade Ministry reminded them as well as ordered them to establish and improve their own management styles in handling the security of information held from their customers.

For a damage of almost 77 million hacked personal information coming from their Playstation Network and Qriocity accounts, Sony is under fire. Statistics show that 90 percent of the hacked information is coming from North America and Europe.
