Miami Heat will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals after winning the best-of-seven series with a score of four victory against one. They will compete for the Eastern Conference Finals after six years drought. The last time they reached the Eastern Conference finals and and eventually clinched the NBA world championship was on the year 2006.
The Boston Celtics was unable to answer 16 straight points at the end of the fourth quarter that put the Miami Heat in a very comfortable lead and moved on to the next round. LeBron James scored the last ten points and took 2 three pointers at the Amerian Airlines Arena, Miami Heat’s home court.

The Big Three of the Miami Heat had a combined 81 points, LeBron with 33, Wade with 34 and Bosh adding 14 points. Ray Allen led the Celtics with 18, Kevin Garnett with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Paul Pierce scoring only 12.
Miami had outscored Boston 26-14 in the fourth quarter. The fatigue that was brought about by their last game against the Heat took a toll to their game 5 performance. With the Celtics lost their reign in the Eastern Conference came to an end.
