Foo Fighters and Paul Simon are lined-up to play free shows at this year’s iTunes Festival. The 31-night festival will take place this summer at Camden Roundhouse in London, during July 1 to July 31.
The legendary singer & songwriter Paul Simon is set to kick start the iTunes festival with his performance on July 1 while the alternative rock band Foo Fighters will make their appearance on stage on July 11. They will join previously decided a number of a-list artists and music bands, which include Adele, Beady
Eye, Linkin Park and Duran Duran.
Foo Fighters have recently released their seventh studio album ‘Wasting Light’ and the album has topped the iTunes album chart this week. Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters told that they are excited with the announcement of their confirmation for iTunes festival. What he liked most about the festival is
that it will broadcast to a very large number of people. The artist says, “Making music is more about the audience than the band sometimes”. The band will also perform at T in the Park, Oxegen and Isle of Wight music festivals this summer.
