Relief officials who lead the rescue team said that there are no more survivors left of the earthquake in Christ church, New Zealand.

After the 6.3 magnitude earthquake that strikes the country and struck the Christchurch, it is now being searched for bodies that have been possibly stocked inside.

Official death toll is now 161 but it is expected to increase up to 240 after the recovery mission.

Civil Defense National controller John Hamilton has announced that they are already shifting from rescue to recovery he said that there are no chance that anyone can survived for this long.

The two Israeli tourists who were the first foreign victims has already been identified, they are Ofer Levy, 22 and Gabi Moshe Ingel, 23 their bodies were found in the rubble.

As of now, authorities are doing their best to slowly restore the power, transport and sewage system in the place but they are afraid that rebuilding the city will not be an easy task because of the too much damage.

As the recovery mission goes on, seven more bodies have already been identified and their families were already informed of it but identification of some dead bodies from the earth quake has been going slowly including the foreign student from Japan, China, Thailand and elsewhere.

90 more bodies have been found after searching the Canterbury TV building. Police Superintendent Sam Hoyle said that “what is important right now is for families that they get the identities right”.

More bodies of workers are said to be trapped inside the three major buildings the Cathedral, Grand Chancellor Hotel and Pyne Gould Guinness.

There are at least 20 suspected bodies buried under the cathedral, so authorities put a reinforced steel frame in the structure of cathedral to make it safer and get those suspected bodies.

Superintendent Russell Gibson said that after removing the beams and things from the tower, they are going to see movements in the area.
