Blake Griffin the sensational rookie from Los Angeles Clippers who played as a power forward have won the 2011 Slam Dunk Contest by jumping over the hood of a Kia Optima, it’s latest model.
Blake Griffin was selected as the first overall pick for the year 2009 by the Los Angeles Clippers. He had previously made his mark during his early days in college playing for the Oklahoma College. Although recruited during the 2009 NBA draft he was unable to play. Stress fracture from his left knee prevented him from playing during the 2009-2010 season.
Griffin was still consider as a rookie during the 2010-2011 NBA season. He is selected as NBA All-Star Player for the year 2011. Eventually winning the Slam Dunk Contest by jumping over a Kia Optima parked in the court. He get the p(–foul word(s) removed–) from a player inside the car and jumped over the hood of the Kia.
His performance earned him the 2011 Slam Dunk Contest.
