The star witness of the Vizconde m(–foul word(s) removed–)acre case is now being threatened by Webb’s camp to face charges for false testimony against the defendant at the Parañaque City prosecutor’s office.
Jessica Alfaro who is not currently in the Philippines will still face the charges as stated by Demetrio Custodio, the Lawyer of Webb.
Estrella Vizconde the wife of Vizconde and her two daughters Carmela and Jennifer were brutally murdered last 1991 in BF Homes in Parañaque City. Jessica Alfaro with two other witnesses testified before the court that it was Hubert Webb and other six co-accused was behind this.
Last Dec. 14, 2010 the Supreme Court has ordered the release of the accused due to lack of evidence. (–foul word(s) removed–)ociate Justices Roberto Abad and Conchita Carpio-Morales are among the member of the justices who voted for the acquittal of Hubert Webb and other members.
Lauro Vizconde has filed another motion for reconsideration to resolve the issue again without the participation of the two Lawyers, Abad and Morales. But his appeal was junked last Jan. 18 as the second attempt.
“By the mere fact that… Abad penned the decision without disclosing his link, direct or indirect, with the Webbs, it is submitted that the decision acquitting Webb, et al is clouded with serious doubt, was a tainted judgment, and consequently, is null and void. If the judgment is null and void, no double jeopardy attaches,” Vizconde said in a statement in his 24-page motion.
