Team Pacquio and wife Jinkee leaving Manila to US for a week promotional fight against “Sugar” Shane Mosley in Las Vegas.
Fans and media flocking at the gate of Los Angeles Airport Philippines Airlines (PAL) Wednesday night hoping just to glance the Filipino Superstar World Boxing Champion Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao p(–foul word(s) removed–) through the other backdoor exit instead of p(–foul word(s) removed–)ing the runaround just to avoid the overcrowded fans.
Michael Koncz Canadian manager of Pacquiao was so happy for much fans support for the People’s Champ. “I hope the fans of Paquiao can understand why we p(–foul word(s) removed–) through the other door. Manny is tired of travel and want to go home as soon as possible,” said Michael Koncz.
The concentration of promotional tour will be in New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. But most interesting stop of the tour will be in Washington D.C. where he will be meeting with President Barack Obama.
“The meeting with the President Obama has not been finalized” said Top Rank and Koncz.
According to Pacquiao, “the fight against Mosley is not easy; I have to prepare myself for at least two months for the fight” he said.
“We cannot underestimate Mosley; he is good fighter and powerful boxer and a champion. In terms of experience, there we lose” said Pacquiao.
Pacquiao is planning to show his basketball skills during the celebrity NBA All-Star game in Los Angeles weekend.
There he goes with Justin Bieber and Jimmy Kimmel.
“That’s something we talked about on the plane but Manny hasn’t fixed his plan yet” said Koncz.
It is hoped that Pacquiao will meet very soon with Mosley for world title fight negotiation.
