Hannah Reardon-Smith who has been drift in flowing water in Brisbane, Australia last January 10 was reported alive after rescued by two men.
Hannah Reardon-Smith is a professional flute player and music teacher. She and her mother were thrown into the water while trap at their car in west Toowoomba. The girl tried to climb at the roof of the car but was later on drift by water.
Jim Gray and Treg Smith, attempted to rescue them but failed.
Later, the girl was caught by a camera and is struggling from the flowing water to survive from death. The image has become viral on the internet asking who the girl was.
Witnesses don’t expect that the girl and her mother would survive from the roaring flood. Luckily Steven Seefeld was on time to rescue her. He said another three seconds and she would have been dead.
As he reached Hannah Reardon-Smith, he been told “My mum’s still out there” the girl said to Steven Seefeld.
Steven Seefeld quickly asks for another help from his friend Jason Iacono. They both see Mrs Reardon-Smith holding on to a road sign. As soon as they reached her mother, Mrs Reardon-Smith said “My daughter, my daughter”.
I remembered Jordan Rice: A Boy Hero in Australian Flood who asks the rescuer to save his brother first. The same has happened to ms and mrs Reardon-Smith. They are more concerned to each other even how bad their condition.
Hannah Reardon-Smith and her mother Kathryn survive with the help of two men. Would you also help any person you see in trouble even you don’t know them?
