Things get worse for Liverpool as they suffered their first defeat against Wolves for 27 years. Manager Roy Hodgson had wished that his side which was not in action for 18 days will put in a good performance but it was totally opposite as Liverpool were sluggish and too slow for a win in any premier league match. The only goal of the match came in the 57th minute when Steven Ward finished the p(–foul word(s) removed–) through the legs of Pepe Reina. With this defeat, Liverpool have suffered their 8th defeat of the season which almost ends their hopes of securing a champions league place. Supporters at Anfield chanted the name of Kenny Daglish to take over the managerial role at Liverpool.
Win For Chelsea

The victory gives much needed points for the blues who before this match hadn’t won a match in their last 6 attempts. Manager Carlo Ancelloti was really happy after this win as Chelsea are now only 4 points behind league leaders Manchester United.

Ben Watson scored the opening goal of the match when he converted a penalty into goal on 18th minute of the match. Arsenal responded in a very good fashion as Arshavin and Bendtner both scored in the last 5 mintues of the first half to ensure that Arsenal go in the half time with a lead to defend in the second half. Things looked to be really good for Arsenal as Wigan lost Nzogbia on 79th minute as he received his marching orders but their joy was short lived as Squillaci scored an own goal for Arsenal to make the score line 2-2 on the night.
