Worlds Strongest Typhoon for 2015 (Typhoon Soudelor) to Spare the Philippines

The strongest tropical cyclone for 2015, Typhoon Soudelor (international name) will spare the Philippines in the next few days after some international weather agency confirmed and made an estimates that it will not hit the country. According to the Weather Channel, citing satellite estimates from the Hawaii-based Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC), Typhoon Soudelor is now categorized as a super typhoon.

JTWC reported that massive cyclone was packing a 1-minute average maximum sustained winds of 287 kilometers per hour as of 8:00 AM today, making the latest weather disturbance in the Pacific region a Category 5 hurricane.

The international weather station’s forecast track shows that Typhoon Soudelor is heading towards the southwester islands of Japan, Taiwan, and then China, sparing the Philippines.

Meanwhile, according to PAGASA, Typhoon Soudelor may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, once it enters PAR, Soudelor will be locally named as Bagyong “Hanna.”

Bagyong Hanna is not expected to make landfall in the Philippines. The latest weather disturbance to enter PAR, Bagyong Hanna was spotted 1,995 kilometers east of Luzon, packing 10-minute average maximum sustained winds of 210 kph near the center and gusts of up to 245 kph.
