The kapamilya heartthrob and one of the most popular young actors Daniel Padilla said that his rumored girlfriend and on-screen partner Kathryn Bernardo has forgiven him after his alleged audio scandal went viral that triggered speculations about his relationship with kapatid actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

In the alleged video clip, a male person, who was speculated as Daniel Padilla, was heard talking about a girl. Although he didn’t name her, netizens speculated that she was referring to Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
Daniel Padilla and Jasmine Curtis-Smith are co-stars in the movie “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo”. The biopic film is part of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe, the “She’s Dating the Gangster” star neither confirmed nor denied that the audio scandal was his. However, he admitted that Kathryn Bernardo was hurt by it.
“Lahat naman tayo, alam naman natin na talagang nalungkot si Kathryn, dahil misunderstanding, eh. Na-explain ko na lahat, naintindihan niya naman,” he said.
Referring the Bench Fashion Show held last Sunday where he hugged Kathryn Bernardo on the stage, Daniel Padilla said: “Yong yakap na ‘yon ay talagang pagpapasalamat na pinatawad niya ako. Talagang kami ay back to normal kaya masayang-masaya ako.”
Meanwhile, Jasmine Curtis-Smith broke also her silence about the issue. The 20-year-old star admitted that she and Daniel Padilla are exchanging text messages but she clarified that they were only talking about his father who recently underwent an operation.
